Established 30 years ago, The Sanctuary is an oasis of calm in the heart of London situated in busy Covent Garden, providing relaxing and rejuvenating treatments for women in a luxurious environment.
In 2009 Fashionizer created stylish and functional garments for their team of therapists, managers and retail consultants, reflecting the contemporary feel of the brand and interiors with specially dyed fabrics in sapphire and turquoise. The unique printed design on the uniform fabric compliments the interior of the spa, Guest services have a loose fit tunics and voluminous trousers and Therapists have a simple square neck tunic with Capri trousers, in CPF ( Cotton performance Fabric) allowing for ease of movement for all therapy and beauty treatments. Additionally Fashionizer created a special adjustable roll up style of shorts for therapists performing wet treatments and these have been exceptionally well received. A silky fabric used for the management uniforms contains a crease effect accentuating drape and eliminates the need to iron the garments.
“Where Fashionizer Spa excels is its design service – we worked closely with their design team and they have produced a bespoke uniform that syncs perfectly with our new concept; its stylish, comfortable and above all, different to anyone else’s. Debbie and her team did an amazing job and the uniforms are very well made.”

As The Sanctuary elected to do wearer trials, we could ensure every element of their uniforms was suitable within their working environment. Fashionizer would always advise wearer trials because they lead to the most successful uniform launches, however we are aware that sometimes time scales won’t allow for this and often this is the ideal not reality. In this situation our expertise and knowledgeable advice helps to resolve most of the pitfalls.
In 2012 Fashionizer was happy to redo the uniforms, as The Sanctuary rebranded the colours to a darker grey and their signature orange. The styles of the garments were maintained due to their success and popularity with staff three years on and only the colours were re-launched.
